Yekaterina Yakovleva

Yekaterina Yakovleva was born in 1976 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
She graduated from the Moscow University of Service, the Arts and Crafts Department, the Ceramics branch, in 2000.
Since 2001, she has been participating in exhibitions held in Moscow and across Russia.
Since 2002, Yekaterina has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, the sculptors’ section. Yakovleva’s sculptures may be found in the State Darwin Museum in Moscow and in private collections in Russia, USA, West Europe and Korea. Yekaterina uses bronze, coal clay and ceramics.

This sculptor’s life and work are united in the wish to be a freelancer, finding the source of inspiration in a free flight. No-one can say what would come to Yekaterina’s mind tomorrow. Everything is unpredictable and unrestrained.
